WHAT WE'RE MADE OF, AND WHY IT MATTERS
At celeris, craftsmanship and integrity go hand in hand. From our very first pair to the thousands we've made since, one thing has never changed: we don't cut corners. It starts with our materials and runs through everything we do.
THE LEATHER
We only use full-grain luxury leathers from Europe's finest tanneries, the same suppliers trusted by leading designer houses. Our hides are pigment-dyed with minimal chemicals and chosen for their natural grain, texture and strength.
We don't want leather that looks like plastic. We want character, structure and longevity. That's what allows your boots to mould to your leg, hold their shape and last.
WHY NOT VEGAN LEATHER?
We've tried them all, from PU to pineapple, and none perform like real leather. They don't stretch or mould to your leg, they can't be resoled and most contain plastics such as PVC. They crack, wear out quickly and are much harder to recycle, so they usually end up in landfill.
Real leather is a by-product of the food industry. We give it a second life in something made to last. That's true sustainability.
THE CRAFT
Every pair is handmade by skilled artisans in our Portuguese workshop. No machines doing the work and no factory production lines.
Because every custom pair is made to order, there is:
No mass production
No stock sizing
No wasted overstock
Each custom boot is made for a rider, not a shelf. That means less waste and boots that won't end up in landfill a year later.

Certified Swarovski® crystals with full traceability
Soles that are pressure-locked and stitched, never just glued, using a method we designed ourselves
We could cut costs here. We choose not to.
