We’re often asked why celeris uk doesn’t attend equestrian events or shows — and the truth is, we have a few really good reasons.
When clients visit our studio, they receive our full attention. Fittings typically last over an hour, and most clients arrive convinced they know exactly what they want — after scrolling through our Instagram, discussing designs with friends, and debating colour choices at the yard. But once they walk into the studio, see the full collection of boots, and over 125 leather swatches… everything changes. That’s when the real design process begins — the bespoke process — where no two boots are quite the same.
But even more important than the design is the fit. Measuring is the most critical part of the process. It’s what allows us to deliver the #perfectfit we’re known for. At the studio, clients are relaxed, wearing their usual riding kit, and in the right mindset for precision. On a showground, it’s a different story — riders are often flustered, not in breeches, and standing in unpredictable conditions (mud, grass, heat, wind… you name it). It’s far from ideal, and we simply won’t compromise on accuracy.
We pride ourselves on creating an experience — not just a product. That experience includes time, attention, and genuine care. Replicating that in a busy trade stand surrounded by queues and distractions? Not happening. Our boots are a considered investment, and we believe you deserve the service to match.
BUT WHAT IF I CAN’T VISIT THE STUDIO?
We’ve got you, we offer a comprehensive Zoom consultation service.
Our Zoom consultations are designed to mirror the in-studio experience. You’ll have access to:
-
Sample boots
-
The full leather and hardware collection
-
Expert advice on design and fit
Most clients need more than one Zoom — and that’s absolutely fine. There’s no limit. This is your time.
Important: Make sure you select your time zone when booking a session.
Measuring remotely
Before your Zoom measuring session, we ask that you prepare a full set of measurements using our step-by-step guide. This gives us a solid starting point and allows us to review and scrutinise your figures in advance. That way, during the Zoom, we can focus on checking key points, clarifying any concerns, and making adjustments where needed — it’s far more efficient and accurate for both of us.
🔸 Important: You’ll need a helper to take the measurements. This is non-negotiable.
Rule number 1: Never measure yourself. It simply doesn’t work and accuracy is everything when it comes to fit.
Our measuring guide is incredibly detailed and precise — and that’s deliberate. We provide clear photographs for every measurement, not a video, because in our experience stills are actually far more reliable for getting things right. Take your time, follow the instructions, and you’ll be amazed how easy it is to get a solid set of measurements from the start.
Once you send them over, we don’t just glance at them. We scrutinise every line. You’ll receive a checklist with any queries or red flags, whether we’re measuring together via Zoom or not. Ultimately, we’re not the ones holding the tape measure — so a final double-check is always encouraged. It’s that attention to detail that helps us achieve the #perfectfit our clients expect.
Our service guarantee
Whether you’re in our studio or on Zoom, you’ll get the same passion, the same precision, and the same commitment to crafting truly incredible custom riding boots — every time.
We’re not here to be everywhere. We’re here to be exceptional.
Why We Don’t Have Reps Abroad — or in Every Store
We’re a small, boutique brand. And we’re known for three things mainly: exceptional service, quality, and fit. These aren’t just words to us — they’re our core principles, and we protect them fiercely.
Every pair of boots is handcrafted, one by one, in our workshop in Portugal. This level of craftsmanship takes time — and it means we don’t have the capacity to mass-produce. If we were to supply every tack shop, every show stand, or every reseller worldwide, our lead times would become excessive and the quality would inevitably suffer.
That’s why we’ve made a deliberate decision not to appoint representatives in the USA, Canada, or the UAE. We want full control over every aspect — the process, the product, and the experience — from first contact to final fitting.
We hope you understand. This approach is how we consistently deliver the standard you expect from celeris uk, and why every pair of boots we make continues to meet the high expectations of riders around the world.
